HOT's Engineers have surveyedthe road from the +160m adit to stockpile, took slope measurements wherethe slope was steeper, and determined the climbing ability requirements of the hauling vehicles with full load and no load.
After a month of site visits and field surveys, HOT has carried out GPS positioning for the locations of all the historic tunnels. The engineers entered the tunnels which met the safety conditions to collect the field data and samples on the side wall of the goaf.
